About New London, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Ralls County, MO, New London is the county seat and has a population of approximately 980 residents. This city is found at the intersection of MO Route 19 and US Route 61. It was founded in 1819 and was named for London, England. New London is located about 100 miles northwest of St. Louis, but it is closely located to other communities like Hannibal, Quincy, and Moberly.

Each year, New London hosts New London Park Days, which is one of the most popular attractions that the community has to offer. There are a variety of attractions available at this event, including a carnival, motorcycle show, parade, and daily prizes. Other activities include a 5K Run/Walk, corn hole tournament, food vendors, music, and other entertainment.

Neighboring Hannibal is a quick drive away and is also home to a variety of notable places to visit when in the New London area. Golf is available at Northwoods Golf Club and the American Legion Golf Course. Specialty shops include Paddle Wheel Popcorn and Candy, Badger Cheese Haus, and Java Jive, and outdoor spaces include Lover’s Leap and Glascock’s Landing.

The New London area will experience varied weather conditions throughout the year, as is typical with a humid continental climate zone. A cold and snowy winter typically sees average high temperatures in the mid-30s, warranting the use of a furnace or heat pump so that residents can stay warm. As the season ends and spring begins, dangerous storms are common, as the community is found within Tornado Alley.

The spring tends to be short and will lead into a hot and humid summer. High temperatures average in the upper-80s, although there are many days in which thermostat readings reach the 90s. These hot weather conditions sometimes extend into the autumn months, and it is important that residents keep their homes and families comfortable with an efficient air conditioning system.
